In only three short years, the Two Sparrows Village Bird Bash has soared into Fayette County’s heart as a beloved legacy fundraiser – raising an incredible $850,000 to date to enrich the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. What an extraordinary community we call home!

Who We Are & What We Do

We believe all adults should have opportunities for an independent life consistent with their individual capabilities. Those with intellectual disabilities thrive in environments that include life-long learning, meaningful friendships, and opportunities to contribute to their communities.

As special needs children grow older and age out of the education system,
living arrangements for those with intellectual disabilities are limited.

The commitment to a far better future for this underserved population led to the concept of Two Sparrows Village, a groundbreaking new model for inclusive living that allows those with intellectual challenges to live in an accepting community with neurotypical adults.
